If anyone has experience with estimating and can offer their opinion that would be appreciated. Also, as a recentish college grad, would having experience with Planswift help on my resume if I ever wanted to go into an estimating position at a larger GC? I find that I am spending too much time on estimates with 10+ units or complicated designs. My boss will cover the cost so the higher price isn't important. Would using Planswift save a considerable amount of time? I'm not a big fan of the plans given in the trial so it's hard to see how it can help with my estimates.

This is fairly accurate and is then adjusted further based on subcontractor bids. I currently use my bosses method of doing the take off on Bluebeam and plugging it into an Excel template. PlanSwift can be custom tailored to fit all trades from finish paint to earthwork. PlanSwift is perfect for commercial and residential contractors, subcontractors and estimators of any size.

I split my time 60/40 managing projects and estimating. Bluebeam solutions are used by the worlds most document-intensive industries to digitize workflows, save time, improve communication and reduce project costs. I am an assistant project manager for a small residential GC that specializes in new multi family construction and I have taken over estimating duties.
